The Tennant Family Scholarship was established by Mike Tennant, a long-time Champaign resident and 1975 Central High School graduate, along with his three sons, Ryne (2004), Graham (2005), and Jace (2009).

This $10,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from Central High School who plans to study business at a two—or four-year college or university and aims to give back to the Champaign-Urbana community one day. The family may contact applicants.

Previous recipients include Nathan Allen (2021), Lalit Gurrapu (2022), Erin Cowan (2023), Lillian Engelman (2024), Nil Patel (2025), and Noah Green (2026).
